This role serves as Lead Tenant Organizer for the Massachusetts Alliance of HUD Tenants (MAHT) in Jamaica Plain, MA, assisting tenants in organizing groups and campaigns at the building level to preserve and improve federally assisted housing, including through door-knocking drives and negotiations with owners and agencies. The role also supervises three AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers, overseeing their recruitment, onboarding, and training in tenant organizing. Additional duties include preparing outreach materials such as fliers and newsletters, and recruiting and supervising social work interns.
