This role works within the Division of Housing Development at the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC), overseeing privately-owned affordable and mixed-income rental and ownership housing funded through roughly 18-20 programs, including the federal and state LIHTC programs, HOME, and the Housing Trust Fund. Responsibilities may include overseeing staff working on Chapter 40B comprehensive permit and local initiative permit projects, which add approximately 2,500 rental units per year, and overseeing the Housing Development Incentive Program (HDIP) for market-rate units in Gateway cities. The current portfolio includes about 140,000 rental units representing over $10 billion in HLC investment, plus more than 120,000 homeownership units.
